Description

The bridge and moat were uncovered during excavation work in 1909. The position, name and heraldic shield for each of the carved beasts on the capitals of the bridge are marked on the front of the mount.

The description for this image is printed beneath the print as ' Hampton Court Palace, 1911. West Entrance Gateway, with Moat Bridge and "Kynge's Beestes'.
