Description

The bridge and moat were uncovered during excavation work in 1909. OWS01/10/260-OWS01/10/262 and OWS01/10/264 show the bridge and moat during the excavation and reconstruction.

The heraldic beasts shown in this image are no longer extant, having been replaced in the 1950s.
