Woodhenge, Wiltshire
Woodhenge is a henge monument which is believed to date to around 1800 BC. It is surrounded by a ditch and outer bank with a single entrance to the north east. The inside of the henge includes six concentric rings of timber postholes. This may be evidence of a large circular structure. The postholes are now marked by concrete bollards. This site is now in the care of English Heritage (2010).
