The Jail at Old Court Farmhouse, Bosbury, Herefordshire

This building was the gatehouse to the precincts of the Bishop of Hereford's Palace. It was a manor house and is now known as Old Court Farmhouse. The gatehouse was built in the 14th century as a stone outer wall with two arches for passageways from the road. The room to the left of the entrance is known locally as the jail.
