The College, Rushford, Norfolk

Rushford College was founded and built in 1342 by Edmund Gonville. It is built of flint and is two storeys high with attics. It was restored in c1850 by the architect S S Teulon. The college was linked with the collegiate church of St John The Evangelist that stands nearby. It is an important example of a college associated with a church from this time, as few such buildings remain.
