Queen Elizabeth II Bridge, Dartford, Kent
The Queen Elizabeth II Bridge was opened in 1991. The bridge and the A282 allow southbound traffic to cross over the River Thames, to join up junctions 31 and 1a of the M25. The older Dartford Tunnel carries traffic northbound along the A282, beneath the river, connecting junction 1a and 31 of the M25. The camera here looks northwards from Kent into Essex.
