Parrotts School, Wootton, Oxfordshire

This school is made up of two buildings. They have the inscriptions 'GIRLS SCHOOL/FOUNDED/1836' and 'PARROTTS SCHOOL/ENDOWED/1788/BUILT 1835'. The school was endowed with an income of £61 a year from Parrott's charity of 1788. It was later also endowed by Reverend Charles Lee. He built the Girl's School and had School Cottages and Balliol Cottage built as an endowment to provide for the education of 6 girls.
