Old Gang Smelt Mill, Healaugh, North Yorkshire

These are the remains of the Old Gang lead smelt mill complex. It is on the Meeth Gill, a tributary of the River Swale. The smelt mill complex contains the remains of two surviving mills. One was built in the late 1700s, the other was built in 1846. This complex worked until at least 1888.
