Narabo Ore Hutches, Quay Road, Feock, Cornwall
These ore hutches are a series of adjoining rectangular storage areas with access through wide doorways from the south (river) side. They date from the early 19th century. Each hutch in the early days was leased by a separate copper smelting company. They used them to store the stocks of ore they had bought from the mines before they were loaded onto ships to be sent for sale. A railway from the village ran above the hutches on a wooden trestle structure.
