This hotel, built in 1932-3, is an excellent example of the 1930s stlye of 'Modern' architecture.

Built in 1936 this house is derived from the Sunspan design, first exhibited at the 1934 Ideal Home Exhibition. The design was intended for builders as an alternative to the usual traditional design of house.
