Leigh Court Barn, Leigh, Worcestershire
Leigh Court Barn is a medieval barn that was used for storing and threshing grain. The barn is the only surviving building from the manor of Leigh Court which originally belonged to Pershore Abbey. The barn is reputed to be the largest cruck building in England. Its size is evidence of the former wealth of the original Abbey farm. This modern aerial view shows its size compared to that of the church and other buildings nearby. The barn is in the care of English Heritage (2011).
