The interior of Harrow School's fourth-form classroom. Former pupils include Byron, Sheridan and Trollope whose names are carved in the oak panelled walls of this room. Harrow School was founded in 1572 by a local yeoman farmer as a free grammar school for the boys of the parish of Harrow. This classroom is in the original school building that was opened to scholars in 1611. The building still survives as the Old Schools.
