Guildhall, Cornmarket, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire

The present guildhall was built in 1757. It was designed by Henry Keene and built at the expense of the Earl of Shelburne. It was built on the site of a 17th century Guildhall. The house has two impressive rooms; the Carrington and Shelburne Rooms. This building, standing out at right angles to the High Street fronts, makes a large contribution to the street scene.
