Grave of Horatia Nelson Ward, Pinner Cemetery, Pinner, Greater London
This is the grave of Horatia Nelson Ward (1801-1881). She was the illegitimate daughter of Horatio Nelson and Emma Hamilton. After a turbulent childhood she married the Revd. Philip Ward in 1822. They went on to have 10 children together. She is buried with two of her children and the inscription reads "...Here rests Horatia Nelson Ward, who died March 6th. 1881, aged 80, the beloved daughter of Vice Admiral Lord Nelson and widow of the above named Revd. Philip Ward."
