Gateway to Wolsey's College of St Mary, College Street, Ipswich, Suffolk
This gateway was one gateway of several when the College was initially established. Wolsey's College was built on the site of several dissolved religious houses. The dissolution of these priories was allowed by both King Henry VIII and Pope Clement.
