Former Seaplane Factory, Castle Street, East Cowes, Isle of Wight
This building was built in 1912-13. It was originally built for the firm of J S White & Co for the building of seaplanes. The 1st seaplane was launched in May 1913. Production was later moved to West Cowes. It is however is a very early example of a seaplane factory.
