Church of St Giles, Shrewsbury, Shropshire

This church was originally part of St. Giles Hospital for lepers and the infirm. It was first recorded in 1155 but was probably in existence by about 1136. It was dissolved in 1546. This church was probably originally designed to serve the hospital. Part of the walls of St. Giles Hospital and the porch are incorporated in the church.
