Brick Kiln, Nettlebed, Oxfordshire

This brick kiln was built in the late 17th or early 18th century. It is a bottle kiln. It is said to be the only estate kiln remaining of its period and of a local design. Nettlebed was known for producing tiles and then bricks from the medieval period until the 20th century.
