Anne of Cleves House, Burton Street, Melton Mobray, Leicestershire

This house was built in the medieval period. It has been restored and altered over the centuries but much medieval work remains, including a 14th century doorway. The association with Anne of Cleves may be due to the fact that Melton Mowbray church was once a cell of Lewes Priory, Sussex of which the revenues were made her jointure.
