A view looking eastwards towards the bridge with Battersea Power Station beyond. The bridge was built by R. M. Ordish in 1871-3. The suspension members were overhauled by Joseph Bazalgette in 1884.

View of the Widnes and Runcorn Transporter Bridge from the shore. It was opened in 1905 and was the largest bridge of this type ever. It was demolished after 1961 when a new high level road bridge was built.
