99-101 Westgate Street, Gloucestershire

This timber framed building was originally a merchants house. It was built in c1500. It was probably built for a master clothier. The house is traditionally believed to have been the lodging for Bishop Hooper before his execution by burning at the stake in St Mary's Square. It is now part of the Gloucester Folk Museum.
