Description

The 222 drawings of Boscobel House date from 1913 to 2013 and include drawings included in Ministry of Public Buildings and Works and Department of the Environment guidebooks from 1965 and 1981 respectively.

In 1964 the Ministry of Public Building and Works produced four drawings for the extension of the guardianship area, and in 1966 seven drawings for the layout of the gardens.

Between 1966 and 1968 the Ministry of Public Building and Works created eight plans for a new toilet block.

In 1967 a five drawing measured plan and section survey of the house was carried out by the Ministry of Public Building and Works.

The Department of the Environment made four drawings of external and internal elevations of the north east wing of the house in 1971.

In 1979, the Department of the Environment commissioned Plowman Craven & Associates to produce a thirty-six drawing survey of the barn. From 1985 are eight sketch amendments to the barn survey. In 1980, Plowman Craven & Associates produced eleven drawings for a topographic and building plan survey for the Department of the Environment.

In 1985 Clews Architects produced four drawings for renovations to the custodian's accommodation. The Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission made four electrical drawings for the custodian's accommodation in 1985 and 1987.

English Heritage made twenty-five drawings for a proposed education room between 1985 and 1987.

In 1987 and 1988 English Heritage commissioned Michael J. Broome & Associates to produce twenty-three drawings of electrical services.

In 1992 Harrison Lightning Conductors installed a lightning protection system for English Heritage, resulting in four 'as built' drawings.

A drawing from 1995 relates to proposed garden and landscape improvements. The most recent sheets comprise a photogrammetric survey from 2013.

There are seven oversized drawings.
