Seventy-two sheets dating from the mid-1920s to 1993, showing the museum as well as associated building such as the Lodge, Perry's Cottage, St James' Church and the Coach House. The earliest sheets are maps showing the Avebury Preservation Scheme. From the 1950s, there are electrical drawings, alteration proposals, a drainage and water supply plan and drawings of a new staircase and car park. More drawings of the car park are included which date from between 1960 and 1964.
There are survey drawings and proposals for a display board from 1967, and a number of sheets from 1969 and 1970 showing alterations to the museum and the layout and design of display cases. Several sheets from 1972 relate to the replacing of the 'Skeleton Grave'.
A sheet from 1981 shows proposals for a new staff toilet and mess, and there are sheets from 1985 showing sales counter details and fittings for the curator's office, but most of the later sheets are electrical drawings dating from between 1985 and 1990. Other 1990s sheets show designs for new entrance doors, from 1990, and three sheets of sketch plans of the museum and associated buildings, from 1993.
There are four sheets with restricted access.
