A series of 641 items, predominantly photographic prints, showing a variety of sites across the county of Suffolk. Some of the locations included in the series include: Helmingham Hall, Rushbrooke Hall, Beccles Bridge, Otley Hall, the Ancient House at Clare, St Mary le Tower Church in Ipswich, Lavenham, Trinity Hospital and Kentwell Hall in Long Melford, Orford Castle, Wingfield College and a large number of parish churches.
In addition, there are four prints in the series which show sites outside the county. One shows the dovecote at Hawley Manor in Dartford, Kent and the other three are of St Mary’s Church in Killarney, County Kerry, Eire.
The formats include albumen prints, platinum prints, gelatine prints (both black and white and colour), photographic postcards, cuttings from magazines or newspapers and one engraving.
