A series of 537 items, predominantly photographic prints, showing various sites across Norfolk. Some of the locations depicted in the series include: Norwich Cathedral, Norwich Castle, Great Yarmouth, Didlington Hall, Cromer Beach, King’s Lynn, Sandringham, Blickling Hall, East Barsham Manor House, Slipper Chapel at Houghton St Giles, Hunstanton Hall, Castle Rising Castle, Horstead Mill, and the Ancient House Museum at Thetford. There are also a number of parish churches represented in the collection.
There are a small number of prints showing sites from outside Norfolk which are attached the reverse of the mounts for other photographs. Locations for these sites include Dublin, Coldstream, Windsor, Paris, Gloucester, Hampshire, Caenarfon and Amoy in China. Additionally, a small number of prints are unidentified.
The formats include albumen prints, gelatine prints, platinum prints, halftone prints, photographic postcards, colour prints and one drawing.
