Description

A series including 265 items, predominantly photographic prints, showing various locations in the county of Cornwall. The formats include albumen prints, colotype prints, gelatine prints, carbon prints and photographic postcards. The series also includes nine negatives, digital images, drawings, paintings, etchings and two photo-lithographs.

There are also twenty-one prints that depict locations outside of Cornwall, attached to the reverse of card mounts bearing other images of Cornwall. These locations include: Clovelly in Devon (OP04827 & OP04926), Littlecote House in Wiltshire (OP04837), Bournemouth (OP04843 & OP04846), Ventnor on the Isle of Wight (OP04844), Egypt (OP04848), Maputo in Mozambique (OP04869), Durban in South Africa (OP04868), Marwell Rocks in West Devon (OP04883), Plymouth and Plymouth Hoe (OP04910-OP04916 & OP19461),and Derwent Water and Keswick in Cumbria (OP19393-OP19395).
