The second series consists of 2065 negatives dating from 2nd April 1904 until 25th May 1951, mostly glass plate with some acetate film negatives. The photographs show scenes in London including men working on the redevelopment of Strand, coronation and jubilee decorations and preparations, coaching club meets in Hyde Park and the British Empire Exhibition at Wembley in 1924. The photographer also took several rural scenes while on holiday in Kent, East & West Sussex, Somerset, Surrey, Isle of Wight, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire, Gloucestershire and Hampshire and some photographs of historic sites while on outings with women's fellowship groups. A few photographs from holidays abroad have been catalogued including those taken in Den Haag (The Hague) four days after the declaration of the First World War. 271 negatives are uncatalogued farm animals, trees and most of the foreign material (including, Scotland, France and Wales).
A negative with an original number of 2nd/2705 was allocated the number MCF01/02/1567 but was noted as missing from the archive when the collection was rehoused and transcribed.
