A photographic job containing twelve black and white negatives, seven with corresponding file prints, taken by the Ministry of Works in 1953. The images show various houses, owned by the British High Commission. The original packaging of the negatives is labelled 'Salisbury, S Rhodesia'. 'Salisbury' was the former name of the capital, Harare. It was renamed Harare following independence from the United Kingdom. The country was renamed from 'South Rhodesia' to Zimbabwe.
