A disused inverted Cornish beam engine used at Newbegin Colliery

The engine was manufactured in the mid-19th century and was used as a colliery pump at Newbegin Colliery. It stopped being used in 1926 and was derelict by 1936. It is believed to have been scrapped circa 1940.
