Description

The Clock House dates to 1817 and is currently a maritime museum and R.N.L.I. station. The house was formerly a store house and offices. The early 19th century gardens lie in the centre of Ramsgate and is roughly triangular in shape. The site is 0.36ha and is bordered on the roads by the terrace Albion Place. In the background is St George's Church, built between 1824 and 1827 by Henry Hemsley. The south side of the church and the west tower can be seen in the postcard.

The postcard was printed circa 1933 by Valentine's Postcards.
